Winter 2013 Graduations

These students completed the GED (High School Equivalency)

Preparation, passed all 5 exams with high scores, and are

now proud to show their diplomas with Director Dominic Avellani (right)

and GED Instructor Antonia Alen (left).

Above are some teachers from the winter 2013 graduations who gave advice, wisdom,

and optimism. In addition to Director Dominic Avellani (left), there are Antonia Alen, GED and

U.S. Citizenship Teacher, Renato Avellani, Computer and GED Teacher, and Tony Cutillo

(right), English Teacher.

Winter 2013 graduations.

These students proudly stand with their children and are happy

to show their accomplishments.

These students stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and

Pomp and Cirumstance at the December 23rd Graduation.

Here we see Director Dominic Avellani with a student. He recently

passed his U.S. Citizenship Exam/Interview after preparing at the

Center. In 2013, Libardo completed his English I, English II, and

Computer I classes. In 2014, he will enroll in our High School

Equivalency Program.

Here These youngsters take advantage of the new 2nd computer

lab that was opened in December 2013 to assist GED students

with computer skills since the new exam is taken on the computer,

not on paper like previous exams.
